The Phoenix Park side have now lost their last five matches, after going down to a pair of narrow losses on Saturday and Tuesday.

On Saturday visitors Hemsworth Miners Welfare took a 4-3 victory.

Hemsworth took a deserved lead when Brett Renshaw scored from a cross which could have been cut out.

Greg Ramsden forced home a corner on 47 minutes to level the scores, and Town took the lead six minutes later when Liam Cartledge scored a trade mark header.

Their lead was short-lived as Renshaw got his second of the game easily losing his marker from a corner.

Town battled back to retake the lead when the lively Lanzel Reid forced Matthew Starr to turn the ball into his own net.

Hemsworth’s equaliser came on 80 minutes when Neil Pickergill slotted home.

Damon Cassell converted another easy chance with two minutes left to steal the win.

On Tuesday night Dinnington went down 3-2 at Nostell Miners Welfare in the League Cup.

Danny Critchlow grabbed a hat-trick for the hosts, while Lanzel Reid and Matt Lapianka were on target for Town.

Dinnington visit Louth Town on Saturday and Hallam on Tuesday night.
