Trinity kids back in action with victory

Gainsborough Trinity Under 15s returned to action after a long layoff with a victory over Burton Blades.

From the first whistle Trinity showed some signs of rust, but still had many chances in front of Burton’s goal.

Trinity took the lead when Corey Drummond slotted home.

Oliver Cummins Hylton added a second, and before the first half ended Drummond’s second made it 3-0.

Burton pulled a goal back before the interval, but the second half began well for Gainsborough, playing some nice football.

Midfield duo of Ben Wray and Mark Raisborough won everything in the centre of the park, and Drummond secured a hat-trick to seal a win for Trinity.
