Veteran defender is praised after debut
The former Lincoln City and Mansfield Town utility player appeared to have ended his playing career before joining the Holy Blues this month.
He started in a three-man defence in the 1-0 home defeat to Nuneaton United on Saturday and then switched to right full-back as Trinity reverted to 4-4-2 in the second half.

“He was a calming influence and got quality into good areas.
“That was his first game for many months and the more we get him fit the more he will recover well.
“He is going to be a big player for us.
“I was really pleased with his contribution.”
Charlie Gatter and Josh Lacey have joined Hednesford Town and Cleethorpes Town on loan respectively.
This Saturday Trinity travel to in-form Bradford Park Avenue.
