The Villagers slipped down to third in the Lincolnshire League table as Skegness Town leapfrogged them with a 4-2 victory at struggling Market Rasen.

Gary Frost’s side were due to host Lincoln Railway at the Causeway.

Wyberton are now five points behind leaders Sleaford Town Reserves with a game in hand.

They and Skegness are both locked on 29 points but the Lilywhites have an additional match to play - and the two sides now meet each other at Burgh Road this Saturday (KO 3pm).
