Vince handed first start as Boston United make four changes ahead of Shaymen clash

Harry Vince will make his first start for Boston United as the Pilgrims face FC Halifax Town this afternoon.

The teenager, who made two substitute appearances at the end of last year, has been named in the starting XI.

It is his first involvement with the first team under Adam Murray and he is one of four changes to the team which lost 3-1 to Nuneaton Town last weekend.

Kalern Thomas, Ben Gordon and Lewis Hilliard also return with injured strikers Karl Hawley and Jay Rollins missing out.

Captain Shane Clarke, who picked up a knock last weekend, drops to the bench while Charlie Gatter is not involved with the matchday squad.

Alex Simmons, who spent time on loan with the Shaymen this season, starts for Boston up front alongside Colby Bishop.

Halifax include ex-Pilgrims skipper Scott Garner in their starting XI, along with one-time target Josh Wilde.

Towering striker Tom Denton has been named on the bench.
