Peter Crook says Boston United are targeting third place - at least.

The Pilgrims keeper is setting his sights high ahead of Saturday's crunch clash at Chester (KO 3pm).

“We’ve got to try to win as many of those towards the end of the season,” he said.

“We need to win as many games over the course of the season and see where we are.

“But we want to be third, at least. We want to be ideally pushing for that top promotion spot."

Crook signed a contract extension to keep him at United next season.

But he hopes the division he is playing in will be less familiar than his surroundings.

“I’m buzzing to sign and glad to be here for another season going into the new stadium," he said.

"But I want to be in the league above for next season.”
