What do today's National League North results mean for Boston United?

Boston United were left without a game this afternoon due to Darlington's involvement in the FA Trophy.

But with plenty of action unfolding in the National League North, there could well have been ramifications for the Pilgrims.

A total of five matches took place this afternoon, two involving clubs battling for play-off places alongside United.

As the games came to a conclusion, however, Craig Elliott's side remained fifth.

They had dropped to as low as seventh during the afternoon as Spennymoor Town and Altrincham led.

However, as Spennymoor Town lost-2-1 at home to Kettering Town and Altrincham were held 1-1 at Moss Lane by Guiseley they remained fifth.

Elliott's side return to action on Tuesday as they host Gateshead, part of the three for four ticket offer.
