Winning start to league campaign for for Boston United U19s

Boston United kicked off their National League U19 Alliance campaign with victory.

The Pilgrims won 3-1 at FC Halifax Town at Huddersfield Amateur.

Jack Waddington's opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, before two finishes from Ben Johnson's in the 38th and 75th minutes.

Halifax had given themselves hope when they netted to make it 2-1 just before half time, but Johnson's second killed off the contest.
