Chris Salt is expected to be available for selection for Saturday’s clash at Frickley Athletic and Josh Hill is likely to extend his stay at Sandy Lane.

The festive season will be crucial for Tigers as they bid to claim top spot in the Evo Stik Premier Division and maintain their red hot goalscoring form.

Tigers travel to West Yorkshire to take on Frickley this Saturday before entertaining Ilkeston on Boxing Day.

“They are two very big games for us, we need to keep hunting for the top spot,” Shaw said.

“We need to continue to play as we have been doing and put in good performances.”

Looking at the injury situation ahead of the two games, Shaw said: “Loz (Laurence Gaughan) will be monitored but it is likely he will be missing.”

“Salty (Chris Salt) will be available for selection and Josh Hill is likely to extend his stay, which we are grateful to Dartford for.”

“Mitch Husbands has returned to us following the completion of his loan spell at Leek Town, however, as yet he has not returned to training with us.”
