Wyberton 'buzzing' to be returning to action

Wyberton are ‘buzzing’ to be able to return to action.

The Colts are among 16 Lincolnshire League sides who will compete in a spring/summer competition after the normal season was declared null and void.

“We’re buzzing to get going to be honest ,” joint manager Jamie Hanton said.

"The competition that the league have set up looks a great alternative and will give every team game time, plus it gives everyone a chance of silverware for the end of the season.

"Hopefully, next season we can be back normal again."

Action begins on April 10 with Wyberton in the South League alongside Horncastle Town, Sleaford Town, Grantham Town Academy, Lincoln United Development, Lincoln Moorlands, Louth Town and Nettleham.
