Wyberton hit for five by Brigg Reserves

Wyberton missed the chance to close the gap further on Lincolnshire League leaders Sleaford Town Reserves following a 5-0 defeat on the road.

Brigg Town Reserves proved too strong for Gary Frost’s side on Saturday.

And with Sleaford’s second string drawing at Skegness United, they now hold a five-point lead over their closest challengers.

Wyberton will be seeking revenge as they now host Brigg in Supplementary Cup action at the Causeway on Saturday.

Kick off will be at 1.30pm.
