“It was a good day for the club,” said manager Joe Greswell.

“With injuries, we called up Jamie Robinson, Jake Holland and Matty Stanney from the reserves and also Sam Potter from the A team.

“It shows as a club what we are doing is working as they have come in and played their part in getting the three points today.

“The most important thing today was the three points. We haven’t won a league game since November and, with the squad we have, that’s not good enough.”

After that it was all Wyberton, Jamie Elston forcing a brilliant save from the Nettleham number one.

Nettleham’s keeper had to be subbed off but their stand-in picked up where he left off, making a smart save to deny Revell.

Wyberton where still creating chances as Will Britton and Revell went close.

The only goal of the game came on the hour as Revell burst through and fired his side in front.

Again Britton and Revell had chances, but where both denied by the Nettleham keeper.

“Yes, we are in a cup semi-final and a final, but I don’t want us to fizzle out in the league and finish mid-table again,” Greswell added.

“If we had lost we could have gone fourth from bottom, which is unacceptable.
