Bevil Jackson, Carol Jackson, Des Vanderhydent and Dave Angwin started playing the 72 holes at 5am at Horncastle Golf Club and finished at 7.15pm, tired and very wet after torrential rain in the afternoon.

A total of £2,000 was raised on the day for Macmillan Cancer.

The foursome expressed their thanks to Horncastle Golf Club and to local people who sponsored the event.
