Golf ladies in full swing

Boston Golf Club's ladies' section took part in a traffic lights event.

Ten teams of three ladies played off full handicaps to score stableford points, with two scoring on each hole.

The ladies had a different view of the golf course, especially when teeing off from the white tees.

Two holes were cut out due to the hail showers.

The winning threesome were Lady Captain Anne Wallhead, Hilary Calvert and Yvonne Wright with 62 points.

Second, losing out on a countback, were Pam Bett, Ann Gullick and Kath Yates, also on 62 points.

In third Place on countback were Lynn Brown, Pat Couture and Janet Reid with 58 points.

The Lincs Veterans Ladies Golf Association held their spring meeting at Grimsby Golf Club, with 70 pairs playing a better ball format.

Boston ladies were well represented and the pairing of Hilary Calvert and Anne Wallhead came in with 36 stableford points to take fouth position.

The Boston ladies hosted a team from South Kyme in a friendly match consisting of mixed handicap players.

The Boston ladies won all of the four matches.
