Golfer Dave Coupland finished tied for 63rd at the European Tour’s Kenya Savannah Classic supported by Absa.

Bostonian Coupland, who is attached to Woodhall Spa GC, bounced back from last week’s disappointment to make the cut at Nairobi’s Karen Country Club.

Round one saw him finish one under on the par-71 course, before his best showing of the competition on Wednesday.

A three under round allowed him to make the cut before two further rounds of 70 saw him pocket €3,127.50.

It proved to be a great response from Coupland who missed the cut at the Magical Kenya Open presented by Johnnie Walker last week, also held at Karen Country Club.
