Dave Coupland marks return to European Tour by finishing T62 at Commercial Bank Qatar Masters

Dave Coupland returned to life on the Europan Tour by finishing tied for 62nd at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

The Boston golfer, who is attached to Woodhall Spa GC, banked 3,963Euros in Doha.

Coupland, 34, marked his first tournament of the Tour this year by getting off to a superb start at Education City GC.

He finished Thursday's first round two under on the 71-par course.

Friday's round of 74 was enough to see him make the cut, while he carded 73 and 75 over the weekend to finish seven over, level with Scotland's Connor Syme.

France's Antoine Rozner won the competition, completing the four rounds eight under.
