Junior golfers have 10 days to wait

Worksop Golf Club is set to host the annual golf tournament on 23rd July, and the area’s youngsters will find out their tee times early next week.

Guardian sports editor Graham Smyth said: “We’ve had interest from all over Notts, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire and further afield again this year. There’s even a golfer from Perth, Australia, taking part.”

“The draw is to be made this weekend and all our golfers will be notified of their tee times next week, with the draw published on our website as well.”

Juniors will be competing for two prestigious trophies, prizes from PING and Titleist, and Lee Westwood will be on hand to meet the golfers and sign autographs.
