Westwood 30th in Tour Championship
LEE Westwood fell short in his bid for the $10 million Tour Championship prize at the weekend, finishing 25 shots behind winner Brandt Snedeker.
The Worksop golfer was 15 over for the tournament at East Lake GC, Atlanta, following a two over par 72 opening round, then subsequent rounds of 73, 76, 74.
His total of 295 saw him finish bottom of the field of 30, and slip to 10th in the final FedEx Cup rankings.
This week Westwood will travel to Chicago to represent Europe in his eighth Ryder Cup against America.
