Westwood win sets up Poulter clash

LEE Westwood will go up against Ryder Cup team-mate Ian Poulter tomorrow in the World Match Play Championships.

The 38-year-old’s comfortable 4&3 victory over Aaron Baddeley today set up the final 16 clash with Poulter, who halved both his first round matches to finish second in his group.

Worksop’s Westwood, top seed for the event, had seven birdies in 10 holes today, just 24 hours after crushing Anders Hansen, to finish first in his group.
