Will Coupland be the man in Gran Can?

Dave Coupland will return to European Tour action this week.

The Bostonian, who is attached to Woodhall Spa, will compete in the Gran Canaria Lopesan Open at Meloneras Golf.

The four-day tournament begins tomorrow (Thursday) with the 35-year-old keen to put last week’s frustrations behind him.

Coupland missed the cut at Austrian Golf Open at Diamond CC, Atzenbrugg, near Vienna.

Thursday’s round of 77 was followed by a 73 on Friday as his involvement was ended after two rounds.
