GYMNASTICS: Sleaford's Kloe claims Double Downies Cup

A member of Sleaford Elite Gymnastics Club beat off competition from gymnasts from across the country on Saturday.

Competing at Notts Gymnastics Academy, Nottingham, Kloe Neil-Morrice won East Midlands Gymnastics Association Level 4 Open Age Double Downies Cup, finishing in front of opposition including South Durham, Phoenix GA, Abingdon and Cardiff Central gymnastics clubs.

Kloe won gold on floor, bronze on beam, bronze on bars and a fourth place on vault to lift the cup.

Sleaford Elite head coach Patsy Shields said: “We are so proud of Kloe. She has trained really hard for this event and this success is a testament to what she is capable of achieving. We have a future star in the making.”
