Harvey is underway as IndyCar returns

Jack Harvey got his NTT IndyCar Series season underway on Sunday night.

The Bassingham driver was competing for Meyer Shank Racing at the Genesys 300 event in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday evening.

Harvey, 27, finished in 16th position, in a race won by Scott Dixon.

He completed 199 laps in 01:38.52.

“Short race but one of the longest nights! Learned more than I can explain,” Harvey wrote on Twitter after the race.

The next race in the reschedulked 2020 series will be the GMR Grand Prix at Speedway, Indiana on July 4.
