Harvey Harman had a busy weekend - boxing on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Boston Amateur Boxing Club youngster is one of the impressive talents coming through this season and his progress is encouraging, as was shown by both his skills bouts.

On Saturday he travelled to Cleethorpes to take part in a show hosted by the Grimsby School of Boxing.

His opponent was Joe Draper, who was slightly taller than Harman.

Draper started strongly but the Boston lad was equal to the task.

Draper grew in confidence and his showboating, doing his own version of the famous Ali shuffle, cost him dearly, as he collected an offensive combination from Harvey.

The last round saw Draper dancing around the ring, offering no challenge to the Boston lad, who coped very well with the occasion.

Harvey boxed again on Sunday in Guilford in another skills bout.

Also in action on the show was Gel Finch.

She beat Jessie Stevens by a unanimous points decision in what was arguably the bout of the day.

The two will meet again on Saturday at the Boston ABC show at the Haven High Technology College (doors 7pm).
