Holly Frost took part in the Allstars 1-to1 event at Doncaster Dome, and faced a higher ranked red belt from the Allstars Taekwondo Club.

Frost, a blue belt, won 14-9 to make it three wins from three 1-to-1 competitions, adding to a silver won in a recent open tournament.

Proud dad Jason told the Guardian: “She is now looking forward to her next tournament, which is organised by our own club Scorpion Taekwondo Doncaster at the Metrodome in Barnsley.”

“That will be followed closely afterwards with the British Nationals, where she is competing in the under 20kg class.”

Jason added: “We are very proud of Holly and thrilled with her progress in this her first year competing.”

Frost, and her fellow Scorpion team-mates, achieved excellent results at Doncaster Dome, under the watchful eye of coach Adele Deakes.

And it was somewhat of a family affair for the Frosts, as Holly’s sister Nikita also competed, and was runner-up in her first ever taekwondo match.
