Hindmarsh on fine form during 18 mile time trial

Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club’s time trial at the weekend was an 18-mile event, featuring a fantastic performance by Matt Hindmarsh.

The rider knocked nearly three minutes off his previous best time to take first place in the handicap competition and second place overall as he finished just 20 seconds behind winner Jordan Skelly.

Matt’s son Liam also showed significant improvement in recording a personal best for the nine mile distance.

The Lincoln Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, featuring the best UK based teams.

The club have arranged a leisure ride to go and watch the event, leaving Roseway at 7.30am.
