Leadenham responded shortly before the half-time whistle when Charlie Cade passed the ball to Ian Sanderson who slotted home the equaliser.

The second half was a struggle for the hosts with two players leaving the pitch injured.

After a quick reshuffle, Leadenham were back on top, dominating possession, and the breakthrough finally came when Jack Ashton converted a penalty corner to give them the lead.

The final minutes were tense for the Leadenham side as Bourne continued to attack, but they held on for a precious victory.
