Horse-racing ‘Tip Of The Day’

Yet another winner yesterday from our resident racing tipster, Scoop Racing. That makes five in the last eight days.

MOTION LASS

Nottingham 2.10 WIN

Kimpton Down trainer Ralph Beckett saddled the winners of both divisions of this end-of-season maiden last year, having sent out two placed horses in previous campaigns. Therefore, it’s no surprise to see that he is targeting the race again with one of his most promising two-year-olds -- a daughter of 2005 Derby winner Motivator and a half-sister to no fewer than six winners. She made an eyecatching debut at Leicester last month when an unlucky runner-up. The filly was still on the bridle and poised to deliver her challenge, but found herself hemmed in on the rails with nowhere to go. By the time she finally got out, the winner had flown, but Beckett’s charge still ran on nicely. This is a similar contest on similarly soft ground, so if, as expected, she has come on for that initial experience, she must go close, especially as the trainer is in fine form.
