Judo members show great improvement

All members who took part came home with a medal and for Andy, Lucas, Emily and Jacob this was their first ever competition. There was some fantastic judo on the day and everyone is showing great improvement.

Results: Gold - Andy Porter, Kieron Smythe, Emily Hickling and Lauren Douce; Silver - Tom Burton, Greg Burton and George Hadden; Bronze - Isaac Powell, Lucas Porter and Jacob Powell.

Whiteswood Lane Judo Club runs on Monday nights at Gainsborough Leisure Centre from 6pm to 7pm for beginners to 10-year-olds and 7pm to 8.30pm for 11-years-olds up to adults, £2 per session.

Sturton Judo Club runs on Thursday nights at Sturton Village Hall, beginners 6pm to 7pm, graded players and adults 7pm to 8.30pm, £2 per session.
