The cabinet member for neighbourhoods at Bassetlaw Council joined BPL senior representatives to open the tee earlier this month.

A partnership between the council and BPL saw the course layout reassessed to improve the playing experience around Kilton.

The fourth tee has now been moved and redesigned to improve golfers’ experience on the course, and to increase the safety of players moving between holes.

It’s the latest in a line of developments as Kilton Forest Golf Club attempts to establish itself among the very best municipal courses in the region.

Coun Julie Leigh said: “Kilton Forest is a great community golf course and looks absolutely fantastic thanks to investment and the work from grounds staff.”

“The re-opening of the 4th tee is just the latest in a series of improvements and developments between Bassetlaw District Council and leisure provider BPL.”
