Lea Park and Retford win tennis finals

Over 100 people attended Gainsborough Tennis Club’s Corringham Road courts last Sunday to see the Gainsborough Evening Tennis League Knockout Finals which saw Gainsborough 1 take on Retford 1 and North Scarle 2 up against Lea Park.

Retford 1 and Lea Park were the eventual winners and were presented with the trophies by the Evening League chairman Phil Green.

Other presentations were made to: Gainsborough 1 (winners of the Evening League Division One), Scotter 2 (Division Two winners) and Epworth 4 (Division Three winners).

The final event of the year at Gainsborough Tennis Club is the Rotary Mixed Doubles Tournament which takes place this Saturday, 8th September.
