Local potters urged to enter pool tournament

POOL players around our region are being invited to sign up the Lincolnshire County Pool Championships which take place later this year.

The 28 year old event is open to amateur players from all corners of the county, with a whopping £1,125 prize fund and £500 for the winner.

The tournament will adhere to old EPA rules with a couple of newer speed rules added to the mixture to spice things up, It will run from September 30 to October 2 at Butlins, Skegness and chalets are available.

There are also team, doubles, ladies, mixed doubles and flyers events running.

But be quick to sign up, as there are only 160 spaces available on a first come first served basis.
