The event was as part of a national drive by Archery GB Clubs to get more people participating in archery as a sport and activity.

The event attracted many people from the East Lindsey district who joined the club members on their archery range day.

Club chairman Richard Smith welcomed East Lindsey District Council chairman Stuart Watson and councillor Pauline Watson to the event and introduced them to Blind Archer Stuart Rodgers, of Sutton–on–Sea.
