Louth Town take on Stamford

LOUTH Town Town supporters get their first chance to view manager Paul Walden’s new look White Wolves side when Evo Stik league team Stamford visit Park Avenue for a pre season friendly on Saturday July 16 at 3pm. 26

Louth will follow this with further friendlies at Holbeach United on Tuesday July 19 (7.45pm), at home to Lincoln United on Tuesday July (7.45pm), away at Radcliffe Olympic on Saturday July 30 (3pm) and finally away at Spalding United on Tuesday August 2 (7.45pm) before the Baris Northern Counties East League season kicks off on Saturday August 6.

There was great excitement this week at Park Avenue when it was revealed that Town had been accepted into the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history. The White Wolves will travel to Gedling Miners Welfare in the Extra Preliminary Round on Saturday August 20, kicking off at 3pm.

The draw was also made for the FA Vase this week and Louth face a tough test after being drawn at home to Borrowash Victoria of the East Midlands Counties League in the First Qualifying Round.

This tie will be played at Park Avenue on Saturday September 10, again kicking off at 3pm.

Town are also pleased to announce that Rebecca Padbury has agreed to join the club as first team physio for season 2011-12, replacing Peter Jellett who left at the end of the last season.”
