Market Rasen Golf Club: Sue wins Professional's Prize

Sue Archer won the Professional Prize at Market Rasen EMN-160530-121935002

Despite the challenging weather conditions the competition was well supported, with Sue Archer (pictured) returning the best score of the day to win with 36 points.

Rosiemarie Lawton finished as runner-up after scoring 32 points, on countback from third-placed Gill Fussey.

* Earlier this month an EWGA Medal was played, the winner of this was Sue Would with a very good score of nett 71.

Joy Purkiss was four shots back in second position and also won the lowest gross round prize with 96.

Lynn Patrick completed the top three places with a nett round of 76.

* Market Rasen B team hosted Louth in a match last week, and the home team secured the win by two-and-a-half points to one-and-a-half.
