Market Rasen Golf: Skipper claims early season honours
Market Rasen Golf Club's ladies' section played their first trophy of the season last Wednesday, the Abraham Trophy.
Despite very wet conditions underfoot, lady captain Helen Grinham played an excellent round and won the competition with 36 points.
Just two points separated the top three with runner-up Jackie Parker scoring 35 and third-placed Rosemarie Lawton carding 34.
Market Rasen also hosted a friendly match against Holme Hall this week and ran out winners by three matches to two.
