Market Rasen report: Khrisma could be set for Cheltenham after cosy success
Market Rasen Racecourse hosted its latets Jumps card of the season on Tuesday afternoon with a six-race offering for punters.

Up first (1.30) was a two mile juvenile hurdle which went the way of well-backed Senator, steered to victory by jockey Gavin Sheehan and trainer Jamie Snowden as an even-money favourite.
Khrisma was a winner of the mares’ novices’ hurdle, race two on the card (2.00) to give a handy boost to trainer Nicky Henderson, who will have plenty of eyes on him when Constitution Hill should run at Southwell on Friday night as he aims to get over his jumping woes with a spin on the Flat.
Khrisma was sent off a 6-5 favourite for the race at Market Rasen and duly obliged at those odds, with some bookmakers quickly cutting her to 16-1 for a tilt at the Ryanair Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival next month.
A field of six went to post for race three on the card (2.30) and Scottish King scored for the Philip Armson team at odds of 9-2, beating Worth The Walk by a very comfortable 11 lengths.
Pretending (10-1) provided a winner for trainer Lucy Wadham in race four of the afternoon (3.02), a scorer by a length and a quarter from Railway Bell in second and Just Her Type, who came home third just a two lengths behind the winner.
Aire Spray got the job done for trainers Joel Parkinson and Sue Smith in the two mile seven furlong handicap hurdle in class four (3.37), winning a cracking finish by just a nose from 4-1 chance Tzarmix, who in turn was just a head ahead of 15-8 favourite Little Legend.
Trainer Gary Hanmer picked up a winner on the card in the penultimate race of the day (4.12) as Eric Carmen won by a length and a quarter in the two mile and three furlong handicap chase, while Robert Dunne was the winning jockey in the finale as he steered 7-4 favourite On Jack to victory in the two-mile bumper to bring proceedings to a close.
