The opening bowlers of Clark and Whitelam soon had the openers in trouble to leave Killamarsh on 11 for 3.

That was soon 40 for 5, Whitelam taking 3 for 7 and Clark bowling unchanged to finish with 3 for 27.

Needham and Green were introduced and both soon reaped rewards as Killamarsh were bowled out for 90.

Marshalls suffered an early setback when Snell went cheaply, but when Needham joined Doyle these two punished the bad ball with ease, until with the score on 54, Doyle was well caught by Woolscroft for a well-made 17.

Chris Blood soon set about the bowling to make a rapid 19, quickly followed by Needham, who played well in his knock of 32.

Whitelam and Turver knocked off the remaining runs with 26 overs remaining and Marshalls claimed the maximum 20 points.
