Martial artists meet in Skegness to take part in a conference

Skegness Grammar School - the home of Skegness Judo, Ju-Jitsu and Iaido clubs - once again played host to the annual Bushido Za-Zen International Martial Arts Society convention, with nationwide participants.

This is an event where all martial arts covered by the society are available to try out, or for participants to learn new techniques with high grade instructors.

The martial arts available, for the week-long event included judo, ju-jitsu, iaido, kendo, kobudo, karate, aikido, akijujitsu, and mixed martial arts.

All of these were open to all members of the society. including juniors and absolute beginners, those two took part being aged from five years to 75.

The event was extremely well attended with more than 130 participants.
