Members out in force
A GOOD turnout from orienteers from Bassetlaw saw 26 attend the regional event at Thoresby last Sunday, to either compete, organise or support.
It was the first time Thoresby has been used for competitive orienteering for about 20 years and over 200 orienteers from around the Midlands took the opportunity to compete on well planned courses through fast woodland.
Bassetlaw runners achieved the following results: White Course – 2nd Rhiannon Emery, 3rd Tom Cooley, 4th Alice Wright, 6th Lauren Emery. Yellow Course – 4th Jodie Wright. Orange Course – 2nd Sam Elliott, 4th Huw Brown, 5th Eleanor Cooley, 19th Fraser Ridgeway. Light Green Course – 8th Alexander Ridgway, 14th Cameron Ridgway. Green Course – 17th Philip Emery, 21st Helen Parkinson, 45th Oonah Ridgway. Blue Course – 9th Will Parkinson, 12th Robert Parkinson, 45th Andrew Ridgway. Brown Course – 19th Peter Gilbert.
