It was a tough season for the Boston and District Winter League, which has now seen the final positions announced for the campaign.

Good conditions at the start of the season back in October 2019 enabled a good beginning.

The Christmas break came and was followed by consecutive Sundays of fierce storms and heavy rain so that the second part of the Winter League never really managed the re-start.

After that there was obviously no play due to Coronavirus.

Billinghay who won the League last year have retained the title but will share it with joint winners Horncastle.

Boston D finished third with Boston A fourth.

In fifth were Boston B, followed by Boston C and E teams.

Louth finished second bottom with Woodhall Spa propping up the rest of the table.

Billinghay, Horncastle and Louth were the only sides to complete six fixtures while bottom side Woodhall had played just twice.
