MOTORCYCLING: East Kirkby rider ready for Brands

Draper Racing rider Tommy Philp is busy preparing for his assault on round three of the British Supersport championship at Brands Hatch on the short Indy circuit at the weekend.

Tommy, from East Kirkby, had a good weekend at Oulton Park and he is confident he can pull another couple of points finishes out of the bag at Brands.

The British Supersport free practice is on Friday, the first at 9.35am followed by the final session at 2pm. Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 10.55am with the results setting the grid positions for the start of the 18-lap sprint race at 3.10pm. There is a warm-up on Sunday morning at 11.13am and the 26-lap feature race is set to start at 3.35pm.
