Tom said: “We’ve got two races to look forward to across the weekend, which means two opportunities to build on our championship lead and I can’t wait to get started.”

Tim also rode well last time out and had a tremendous battle with fellow Lincolnshire rider Matt Truelove in the closing stages with Truelove taking fourth just a fraction of a second ahead of Tim who finished fifth.

He said: “I am feeling really positive coming away from this weekend, once again smashed my personal lap time and finished the race in fifth, only 1.3 seconds from the win.

“We demonstrated some good and consistent pace over the weekend, never finishing outside of the top five.
