The twins travelled to the Cheshire track to take part in the final British Superbike test on Friday where Tom completed the three Superstock 600 tests in an average position of fifth, while Tim finished in 14th.

The extra track time will have enabled the Lincolnshire twins to find a good set-up for the weekend’s racing as long as the weather stays fine.

If it rains then they, along with most other riders, will be starting from scratch to find a decent wet set-up.

The Stock 600 class is first out on Saturday for free practice at 9am, and this is followed by first qualifying at 1pm.

Final qualifying gets under way on Sunday at 4.15pm and there is a short warm-up session on Monday at 9.15am.

The 14-lap race is set to start at 12.35pm on Monday.
