Market Rasen farmers Tim and Tom Neave head back to Donington Park this weekend for the penultimate round of the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 championship.

Tom is sitting in a strong second place for Honda Racing and Tim, who rides for Buildbase Hawk Suzuki, is not far behind in fourth position.

Oulton Park didn’t go as well as hoped for Tom on the Honda Racing Fireblade as the team had little or no practice at the Cheshire circuit, but he recorded a brace of 10th places to bring some much needed points back to the team.

Tim fared better as he rode to a fourth and fifth place to consolidate his fourth place in the overall championship standings.

“Trying to win a Championship isn't easy and is a whole team effort," said Tom.

"I'm lucky to have such a great team around me with Honda Racing UK.

"The last round didn't go our way and we lost some points, but we've got two races at Donington Park to put that right."

Tim added: “(I was) really happy with fifth and fourth at Oulton.

"I always knew the weekend would be a tough one for me, but we kept working and improving in every session.

"I cannot thank Buildbase Suzuki enough for their continued hard work and support, and also all of my great sponsors, supporters and family.

"I cannot wait for Donington Park.”
