MOTORSPORT: F1 cars to feature at Cadwell Park's Modified Live event

Modified Live celebrates high performance and speed with entertainment both on and off the famous Lincolnshire Wolds track. This includes breathtaking demonstrations from a Grand Prix-winning 1990 Benetton and other powerful racing cars from the era of screaming engines. There will also be a spectacular professional drift demonstration, showcasing the art of sideways driving and a motorbike demo.

Equally wild machinery will fight for supremacy in the opening round of the new Time Attack season. The championship tests both creativity and driving ability, with competitors battling to post the fastest lap of the track in highly-modified cars.

Unlike many motor racing events, visitors are invited to join in the fun at Modified Live. Public track time sessions are available to book, where spectators can lap the circuit in their own cars. These can be booked in advance for just £25 at www.modifiedlive.co.uk

In addition to the excitement on the track, there’s plenty more entertainment throughout the day. Huge car club displays will include an eclectic assortment of the fast and furious, and visitors can enter their own car in a Show and Shine competition via the Modified Live website.

There will also be a trade village with the latest and best in car care products, and even the youngest fans will be catered for with children’s entertainment including a free adventure playground.

Tickets for Modified Live at Cadwell Park are available in advance from £13, with free entry for under-13s.
