Established in 1968, the North Humberside Motor Club promotes numerous motorsport events throughout the year and last season inaugurated a multi-use stage rally at Cadwell Park.

The rally forms the second round of the brand new Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship, which will also return to Cadwell Park in the spring.

The championship has attracted a huge entry, and more than 90 cars are set to tackle the stages at this event, from classic Ford Escorts and Lotus Sunbeams to Metro 6R4s, Subaru Imprezas and Mitsubishi Evos.

The rally will consist of eight stages, using parts of the undulating circuit, some of which will be run in the reverse direction, paddock and access roads. The final two stages will be run after sunset, bringing the spectacle of blazing headlights, flaming exhausts and glowing brake discs to Lincolnshire.

Tickets for the North Humberside Rally at Cadwell Park are available for £10, with free entry for under-13s. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or visit www.cadwellpark.co.uk
