Multi option ride

A downpour of freezing rain didn’t stop Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club from riding in their multi option ride on Sunday.

Six riders took part on two different ride distances, 15 and 38 miles.

The riders departed Roseway in Gainsborough town centre riding as one group, heading through Laughton Woods.

Trevor Halstead and Loll Dickenson headed north to Keadby Bridge, returning home on the west side of the River Trent.

Riding conditions were extremely difficult with a very strong south west wind a heavy rain.

The riders were on a mixture of mountain and touring cycles.
