New boys doing well

MONDAY Night Football League newcomers Ropery Rangers gave a good account of themselves against a strong BFDC side.

After going 3-0 down early on, with BFDC debutant Kieran Killelaly scoring a first half hat-trick, Ropery found their feet and played some good football. Kieran Padgett scored a brace of really good goals but the experience of BFDC saw them home with Green scoring a late goal to finally kill off the new boys.

In the other game it was a close battle between FC Alright Dave and Blues Brothers with the former’s player manager Danny Markham firing in a late winner.
