Do you know a sporting talent who deserves recognition? If so then now is the time to celebrate them.

The The Boston Standard has opened nominations for their annual Sports Awards once again.

And we are calling on you, our readers, to make sure that the great and good of local sporting talent are given the accolades they deserve.

To make sure all aspects of sport are covered, we have a whole host of categories to nominate for, ensuring nobody will miss out.

These include Sports Personality of the Year, Sportsman of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Services to Sport, Footballer of the Year, Junior Sportsman of the Year, Junior Sportswoman of the Year and Junior Team of the Year.
