Openers absent for Bourne test

“To lose our two opening batsmen is not ideal but two others will get the chance to make that place their own,” said captain Tom Baxter.

“Jon’s availability will be hit and miss throughout the year and Kieran will miss the next three weeks so it gives someone the chance to come and take that spot and make it their own.”

Bourne are sat one point behind Boston in the table.

“Bourne have some very good cricketers in their side,” Baxter added.

“They have the ability to beat anyone on their day so Saturday’s game will be another good test for our side.”
